Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged or defective items: If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging.

  • Incorrect order received: If you receive the wrong item, let us know within 7 days of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Non-receipt of order: If your order has not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, please get in touch so we can investigate.

 

Variations inherent to the 3D printing process (see Section 3) are not considered defects.

2. Non-Refundable Items

Due to the personalised nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Custom-made or personalised light boxes

  • Items made to specific customer requests (e.g., logo designs, children's sketches)

  • Change of mind after production has started

 

Refunds or replacements will only be offered where goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, in accordance with your statutory rights.

Variations resulting from the 3D printing process, as outlined in Section 3, are not considered faults.

3. Manufacturing Process & Acceptable Variations

All SparkBox Studio products are custom-made using 3D printing technology. This process involves layer-by-layer fabrication and may result in minor visual variations inherent to the manufacturing method.

Such variations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Light surface texture or visible layer lines

  • Minor filament stringing

  • Subtle colour transition or blending marks

 

These characteristics are inherent to the 3D printing process, do not affect the intended use or durability of the product, and are considered acceptable variations, not defects.

For the purposes of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, these characteristics:

  • Are part of the product description, and

  • Do not render the goods unsatisfactory or faulty

 

Accordingly, such variations do not qualify for rejection, refund, or replacement.

All items are subject to quality control prior to dispatch. Where a product does not meet our internal standards, it will be remade before being shipped.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at hello@sparboxstudio.co.uk with the following details:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos of the product (if applicable)

We aim to respond within 48 hours.

5. Refund Process
  • If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

  • If a replacement is requested instead, we will arrange for a new item to be sent at no extra cost.

6. Returns
  • In cases where we request a return, the item must be sent back in its original packaging.

  • We will cover return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.

  • If a return is required for any other reason, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
